Youth Fitness

Youth Equipment Orientation:

Youth ages 11-13 years of age will receive instruction on Wellness Center safety and etiquette as well as proper use of cardio and weight equipment. Upon completion of equipment orientation, youth are permitted to use all wellness areas with an adult.

  • Youth Orientations are free to members
  • Dates: 2nd Sunday from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
    4th Tuesday from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Speed and Agility Youth Training

The goal of this training is to increase speed, quickness, coordination, and flexibility in each athlete. Multiple drills will be done each session that will focus on accomplishing these goals to maximize sports performance. Speed and Agility tests will be performed on the first and last day of training to measure performance.

  • Dates: June 4th – July 27th
  • Sessions: 10-13 years old- Monday/Wednesday from 8:30 am – 9:30 am
    14+ years old- Tuesday/Thursday from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Family Cycle

This thirty-minute class is designed with families in mind. Done on a stationary bike this class will develop your cardiovascular strength and endurance. Learn the basics with other beginners as your instructor will lead you through different styles of rides with motivational music and class instruction. The bike will only work as hard as you want it to as both the speed and resistance are in YOUR control. Families with children 10+ years are invited to attend.
