Beyond the Scale: Fitness & Nutrition Coaching

Beyond the Scale: Fitness & Nutrition Coaching is a program created to help participants learn how to adapt and manage a healthy lifestyle. This program consists of weekly meetings as a group to hear from professionals in the health community, discussion with others in the program, weekly take home goals to practice what we’ve been learning, and a better understanding of how to lose weight and manage a healthy lifestyle.

  • All participants who attend the first four sessions can bring a friend to the remaining eight sessions for free!
  • Discounted YMCA personal training.
    Members: 4 - 30 min. sessions: $55 ($25 off)
    Non-members: 4 - 30 min. sessions: $85 ($35 off)
  • A pre and post assessment will be taken so participants can track their progress during this educational program.


Couch Potato Triathlon

Join us for the YMCA's Annual Couch Potato Triathlon!

Swim, bike, run!

Complete a triathlon in six weeks! Swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, run 26.2 miles. What a great way to start out the new year by completing this triathlon challenge! This triathlon is open to members and non-members, so invite your friends to join you! Once you turn in your log sheet you will receive a FREE long sleeve shirt!


Mini-Triathlon Challenge

All Couch Potato participants are invited to participate in a mini-triathlon on Feb. 16 as a finale to the Couch Potato! The mini-triathlon will consist of a 2 mile indoor run, 8 mile indoor bike, and 250 yard swim. This is a great way to challenge yourself after your Couch Potato accomplishment or a stepping stone in training for a sprint triathlon! And all participants receive a free medal for accomplishing the mini-triathlon!

This mini-triathlon is optional with a $10 additional charge. If you sign up for the mini-triathlon you will receive $10 off the Spring Triathlon registration!

Turkey Trot



Join us for our annual Turkey Trot Race, 5k walk/run, and family edition! Race to collect items for your Thanksgiving dinner! The winner of the race will receive a turkey for their Thanksgiving meal!

Family Edition: Race with your family/group to collect items for your Thanksgiving meal along the way!

Individual: Participate in our 5k race/walk (not collecting items)! Top runners will receive Thanksgiving sides to go with their meal and winners receive a free turkey!

Spring Triathlon

Participate in the YMCA Spring Triathlon! All ages are welcome. Participants will complete a 400 yard swim, 12.2 mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run/walk.

Sign up individually or compete relay style with a team! Need people for a team? Contact us and we'll try and put together a relay team for you!

Schedule an Evaluation

A system of exercise standards that categorizes the fitness level of our members and keeps you motivated to push on to the next level with incentives for advancement. Four levels of excellence must be completed in order and can be tested by appointment. The top incentive is a free month membership! Fitness Benchmarks provides an added layer of accountability and competition that promotes individual success, community building, and gym camaraderie.
