YMCA Staff Give Back $13,000

Every year the Hastings Family YMCA holds an Annual Campaign to raise money, not to run the facility, but specifically to help individuals in our community be involved. There are many people in Hastings who cannot afford for their kids to be able to play soccer with their classmates, go to summer camp with their friends, have a safe place to go after school that provides a nutritious meal, or even for adults and seniors to be able to keep a healthy lifestyle, improve their mobility, and have a place to belong where they can socialize with others. The YMCA wants to make sure that no one is left out, and through our generous community, we’re able to do that!

Our staff believe so strongly in the work that goes on at the Hastings Family YMCA, that every year they donate $13,000 of their own money back to the very cause that they work for! Many of the staff also volunteer their own time outside of work to help run YMCA camps, community events, fundraisers, and more! If that doesn’t motivate you to give to the YMCA during the Annual Campaign then I don’t know what does!

The Hastings Family YMCA makes such a difference in so many people’s lives and we need your help to impact even more! We are almost to the end of our 2020 Annual Campaign with $135,000 of our $230,000 goal. Plus, all money that is donated stays in our community!
