A love for swimming and a commitment to fun and hard work are the only prerequisites. The Tigersharks team participates in two seasons – the “short-course” season, held in 25-yard (“short”) indoor pools from September through March, and the “long-course” season, held in 50-meter (“long”) outdoor pools from late spring through July. The team competes in both the USA Swimming and the YMCA leagues, and hosts several meets in Hastings each year. Swimmers must be members of the Hastings YMCA and USA Swimming, and summer participants must also be members of the Hastings Aquacourt. For more information, e-mail Alissa Hein.
